Robert Harris, D. Div. is one of our community’s leading experts in human relations and a longtime champion for the civil rights of the disabled. He contracted meningitis as an infant which left him permanently paralyzed in both legs and left hand; he uses a wheelchair for mobility. Undaunted by his disability, Robert became a talented visual artist and an ardent advocate for the inclusion of disabled persons in all sectors of society. Recently inducted into the Ohio Civil Rights Hall of Fame, Robert has an extraordinary record of both voluntary and professional service to the greater Cincinnati community. His extensive civic involvements have included past board president of the Cincinnati Human Relations Commission (CHRC), and board service to the American Red Cross, United Way and Community Chest, Housing Opportunities Made Equal, United Cerebral Palsy Center, and Cincinnati Metro. Linnea Lose APR, (accreditation in public relations) specializes in strategic community engagement, branding,  marketing communications, media relations and reputation management. She has focused on non-profit  and civic initiatives that make Greater Cincinnati a more prosperous region. In addition to 15 years as an independent counselor to human service organizations and small businesses, she also has directed marketing  communication departments on the client side at TriHealth, Xavier University, and Drake Center, as well as  the agency side at Wolf Blumberg Krody. Mike Maloney M.Ed., MRP, is a community organizer, social researcher, consultant and activist. He holds advanced degrees Education and Planning. As a community organizer he has worked in Walnut Hills,  Over-the-Rhine, East End and Lower Price Hill. He has also helped establish programs in Northside, South  Fairmount and Camp Washington. He was founding director of the Urban Appalachian Council in Cincinnati  and headed the Appalachian Area Office of Catholic Social Services of Southwestern Ohio which served several rural counties. He has taught Appalachian studies, planning, and philosophy courses at several area  colleges and universities. He currently operates a consulting service, Michael Maloney and Associates. . Jenny O’Donnell, Psy.D. is a private consulting psychologist and the Director of Forensic Services at Forensic Evaluation Service Center, Inc. She has always worked in the non-profit arena and has served as a volunteer, a Board Member and a donor to over 30 different non-profit and political organizations. As a Forensic Center Director, in addition to administrative responsibilities of a non-profit with an annual budget of approximately $300,000, she writes grants, manages operations, and performs forensic evaluations along with her team of Legal Examiners. She also heads up the Butler County ReEntry Project for individuals with severe mental illness returning from prison to this predominantly Appalachian community and has received several grants to fund this project. . Pat Timm Ed.D., is a civic leader and nonprofit consultant in Cincinnati, Ohio. Pat joined Harrod and Associates in 2014 and co-led their work with the Philippus UCC congregation exploring Pathways to the Future. Previously, Pat directed the Back Office of the Community Development Corporations Association of Greater Cincinnati, the Licking River Greenway and Trails Project of Northern Kentucky, Ohio River Way, Inc, the Metropolitan Growth Alliance, the Hamilton County Environmental Priorities Project, the Hamilton County Zoning Code Update and A Day in Eden, Inc. Michelle Watts has researched the African experience in America for over twenty years. She began her studies at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts where she completed a double major in English and Political Science. She received a doctoral degree in American Literature from Rice University, with a focus on 19th century African American women’s writing. Dr. Watts has taught at Rice University in Houston, Texas and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. While at Miami, she was recognized as an Honored Professor for her “remarkable commitment to students and their educational development.” She was also an Erskine Peters Fellow in the Department of Africana Studies at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.  Read more…
